B&B Rifugio della Luna, ingresso

Situato nei pressi della torre di Satriano di Lucania nel comune omonimo a circa 2 chilometri dal centro abitato, il B&B Rifugio della Luna dispone di due camere di cui una doppia e l’altra tripla con possibilità di letto aggiunto. Bagno indipendente con doccia e soggiorno con camino e angolo cottura.  Per un soggiorno minimo di 4 notti gli ospiti possono usufruire del barbecue e del forno a legna. Posto auto riservato, gratuito. Sono ammessi animali.

L’abitazione si sviluppa su un unico piano ed è circondata da uno splendido porticato con vista panoramica sull’ameno abitato di Satriano di Lucania, nel Parco dell’Appennino Lucano. Un ampio giardino accoglie gli ospiti rendendo il soggiorno piacevole e rilassante. A due passi è situato un sito archeologico , che è tuttora oggetto di studio per gli appassionati , in cui sono stati rinvenuti resti dell’antica Satriano già sede vescovile e importante crocevia degli antichi dominatori borbonici.

Il centro abitato (considerato tra i borghi più belli d’Italia) si trova a pochi chilometri dal Capoluogo e poco distante dalle caratteristiche Dolomiti lucane che con Castelmezzano e Pietrapertosa sono considerate una delle maggiori attrazioni della regione.

Nel centro storico di Satriano di Lucania è possibile visitare dei particolari Murales a tema che raccontano la storia e il vissuto dei suoi abitanti. Adiacente al B&B si trova un maneggio dove è possibile effettuare passeggiate a cavallo e trascorrere liete serate nel Pub annesso allo stesso. Poco distante un Centro sportivo con un Palazzetto polifunzionale  accoglie gli amanti dello sport. In zona è presente anche una piscina comunale coperta ben attrezzata che funziona durante tutto l’anno.

The B&B “Rifugio della luna” (“The Refuge of the Moon”) offers its guests complete relaxation in direct contact with nature.
Situated close to the tower of Satriano, about 2 km from the centre of the town of the same name, the B&B has two rooms available, of which one is a double and the other is a triple with the possibility of adding a bed.  They are en-suite (with shower) and have a living room with a fireplace and cooking facilities.  For a minimum stay of four nights, guests can use the barbecue and wood burning oven.  Reserved car parking space.  Animals are allowed.  The house is built on a single floor, surrounded by a splendid open porch with panoramic views over the countryside. A large garden welcomes visitors, making the stay pleasant and relaxing.  A stone’s throw away, and still the focus of study for enthusiasts, is an archaeological site where the remains of ancient Satriano have been found. It was formerly the residence of a bishop and an important crossroad for the ancient Bourbon rulers. The town (considered to be among the most beautiful towns in Italy) is to be found few kilometres from the provincial capital, Potenza, and a short distance from the distinctive Lucanian Dolomites which, with Castelmezzano and Pietrapertosa, are considered one of the major attractions of the region.  In the historic centre of Satriano you can see some notable murals, which narrate the history and lives of the inhabitants.  There is a riding centre next to the B&B, where it is possible to go horse riding and pass happy evenings in the pub attached to it. A short distance away there is a sports centre with a multipurpose building that welcomes sports lovers.  In the area there is also a well-equipped council-run swimming pool.  Alternatively, for people who love biological products, they can find them at the “Fattoria Bio” (“Bio Farm”) where you can taste some typical local dishes.
